We are breeders of Shorthorn cattle. Our mission and philosphy is a little different than most. We feel that cattle should be functional, high performing and phenotypically correct. Yes, it can be done. Our goal is to produce an animal that is highly desireable both from a breeding stock stand point and a commercial aspect as selling beef is what this industry is all about. We have taken a step to produce what we fondly refer to as a "Black Durham". Take a look at what good Shorthorn genetics crossed with good Angus genetics can yield. Thank you to Grady Dickerson and Bar S Ranch of Paradise Kansas on the purchase of this female. "Page" was the champion Plus heifer at the 2008 Kansas State Fair.
